About this site:

This site try to be a complete catalogue of all major manufacturers for 1/72 scale, in vehicles and figure production. It also tries to give a chance to collectors/players to find any of them on Ebay, as one of the major problems in this industry is distribution of the products. Surely, as many of you, I love to go to my local store, but some products will never be there, some ones because they are too old to find on stores, other because the manufacturer have no distribution on the country, store, or so. For me, as for collectors, Ebay is a great site to find all this sets, and opportunities which I can't find in any other way, but it's very tiring to perform searches through Ebay for all the sets, and many times I don't even know about the existence of a specific set. So this site aims to be a help for all of you... and also for me.

NOTE FOR EBAY SELLERS.

If you are an Ebay seller who wants to see your items listed here, the easy way is include manufacturer name and product code on your ebay item, as it is the standard way to search from this site. E.g.: Esci 200, for the classic World War II British Soldiers Esci set. Some specific products are searched by keywords such scale + product name, e.g.: 1/72 High Chaparral, to search this classic Airfix set. Be aware that this is not the first way to search products on this site. The search of products this way will be more time consuming.

NOTE FOR CONTRIBUTORS.

Trying to maintain a complete reference for 1/72 scale is a huge work non affordable for this site at this moment. Air-planes, minor or local manufacturers, detail and conversions sets,, and many other things, are for now out of the scope of the site. This site is primary intended to be a reference for figures and vehicle sets in 1/72 scale through any historical period.

In a first step major manufacturers and common sets are being included, but a lot of products still haven't box example and many errors with products code and period reference could be made. Any contributions in this way will be more than welcome.

All Mmetal manufactures are also excluded fromin this first approach, and many resin sets in resin are also are out by the momentfor now., aAlthough it is intended to include them in further stepsbe done in following steps. That said, So contributions with resin manufacturesr also are also very welcome.

The most incomplete parts of the site, are, by the way, playsets , accessory sets, and also vehicle reference, which is a huge work by itself. Any contribution in this areas will be also very appreciated. Thanks to the great work done through years by www.plasticsoldierreview.com , figure listings are quite complete.

I want to note at this point, that this site don't try to replace the excellent work done by Plastic Soldier Review, and because of this, on the next enhancement all figure sets will have a link to the correspondent review on that site. A site which any fan for this scale must know and visit as often as can.

Unfortunately vehicles are not so good covered in any site, so at this moment no links to reviews will be provided for them. Although I want to note the excellent work done by Henk of Holland at henk.fox3000.com/index2.htm, a site you must know if you love vehicles in 1/72 scale.

In a close future diecast manufacturers will also be listed on the site. For this matter, www.diecast72.com is the reference site, for all those who loves this concrete type of products.

THANKS TO.

I wants to kindly thanks the following sites, which all have contributed to get me back in the 1/72 scale world.

I'm sure you will enjoy any of these sites if you love 1/72 scale. The list of sites and blogs I usually follows is huge to be listed here, so I recommend to take a look to the links on my blog and also to follow the great work of the members of both forums I've listed above.
